About
Mike grew up in Brookfield, Illinois, outside Chicago. It was a wonderful time and place to be a kid with both sets of grandparents living nearby. His parents and siblings vacationed in Colorado and moved to Woodland Park in 1978 – this is where he was meant to be. Mike graduated from Woodland Park High School. He went to CU-Boulder, transferred to UCCS, and graduated with a Biology degree.
Mike loves this community and all it has to offer. He has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for many years, two-term President of the Pikes Peak Rotary Club, a member of Mountain Top Cycling Club, and previously served on the Keep Woodland Park Beautiful and Woodland Park Board of Adjustment. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District and is a member of the Paint Pony Water District board. Serving people and the community has always been his desire.
A 27-year career as a real estate appraiser/owner with Appraisal Associates of Teller County provides him a unique perspective when working with buyers and sellers. He brings that knowledge to every transaction. Understanding the nuances of individual areas and subdivisions is critical in this diverse market.
Woodland Park/Teller County is a great place to live. Golf is his sport of choice and he tries to play as often as possible. Hiking with his wife, Mary Ann, and two dogs brings him great joy. He looks forward to serving you with your real estate needs.
